Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sarker is the Chairman of leading Agro-based business conglomerates of Krishibid Group of Bangladesh. He was the Former Vice Chancellor of  Jeshore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology (1992-94) and Senior Professor of Farm Power & Machinery Department at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh untill 2015.

Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sarker has completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from BUET in 1969. After his graduation he obtained a post-graduate Diploma in the field of Tropical Crop Storage and Processing during 1972-73 Session from National College of Agricultural Engineering, UK. He has completed his MSc in Tropical Agricultural Mechanization in 1974 from Reading University, UK. He then completed his PhD in the field of Agricultural Engineering in 1984 from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. Professor Dr. Sarker also worked for his Post-Doctoral Research Degree in Agricultural Mechanization in 1995 at Cranfield University, UK. Beside this, Professor Dr. Sarker attended Post-graduate Certificate Course in ‘Project Planning and Management’ from University of Bradford, UK in 1997. He has Visited many countries of the world for Business and academic purposes.

Dr Ali Afzal is an Agricultural Scientist and Managing Director of renewed leading Agro-based business conglomerates of Krishibid Group of Bangladesh. Dr.Afzal is also actively involved in varietal improvement program on grain legume crops namely lentil, mungbean and blackgram science 1992. He is also working with varietal improvement program on chickpea, grasspea, cowpea and fieldpea. In addition Mr. Afzal is successfully operated a national project entitled “Lentil Blackgram and Mungbean Development Pilot Project”, DFID, UK funded Mungbean Project ACIAR, Australia founded Chickpea BGM Project as Deputy Project Director. Meanwhile, he published the 91 Scientific articles of different international & Natural Journal.
