We are for Green Bangladesh
The Glorious Technical Training Institute (GTTI) was initiated in order to provide technical knowhow and add value through imparting training to the young generation which constitutes a major portion of the mass people of Bangladesh. The goal of this institute is to convert them into effective manpower in order to reduction poverty throughout the country. The institute was founded in 2008 as a project under Krishi Foundation.
The Institute has been approved by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board to conduct trade courses of 6 months duration. Presently, the GTTI is located at Goran, Chatbari (on the west side of National Botanical Garden), Section-1, Mirpur, Dhaka 1216. Courses on Welding, Electrical, Auto Mechanics, Driving, Plumbing and Civil Construction are currently being offered as per approval of Bangladesh Technical Education Board. So far, about 2000 students have been trained in 120 courses under six trades. About 50% of the trained students have been self employed, while the others are employed by different companies.
